Yahoo! This post signifies the completion of over 1,300 pages of fun and colorful printables in our Learn to Read Preschool Alphabet Series. It’s been work creating these printables but it’s been lots of fun too. My boys have absolutely loved all of the activities, the cutting, coloring, blue-tack and glue. I’ve been challenged with how fast they learn and how quickly they complete activities that sometimes take me hours to create. If you’ve been following along then I hope you’ve enjoyed it with us {and don’t worry, there’s more.} This post includes affiliate links for your convenience – your support by using my links is always appreciated – thank you for being a supporter and fan. 🙂

Over 1300 Pages of Alphabet Printable Letters and Activities
Some highlights from our alphabet and learn to read preschool alphabet series journey. This series was free in the early years of this blog. Now, it’s a part of a paid curriculum at VisualMontessori.com – but you can still get 5 page sample packs for each letter of the alphabet on this site. That’s over 130 alphabet printables for FREE.
In October of last year we started with the Letter A – all of the printable packs include simple coloring pages to emphasize the alphabet letter being studied. Here a craft sponge is being used to paint an apple red.
Every printable pack includes free printable alphabet tracing, an alphabet letter printable, free printable alphabet worksheets, 20 alphabet flash cards printable, printable alphabet activities, printable alphabet crafts, alphabet letter lace-up card, sight word flash cards and more.
Printable alphabet activities can be as simple as do-a-dot painting, to creating a caterpillar with construction paper circles and glitter glue. Additional crafts and activities include painting the letters of the alphabet, creating the letters of the alphabet using animal and object shapes, tracing alphabet letters using free printable alphabet worksheets, and many other similar activities.
The printable alphabet activities include matching games, easy maths games, coloring, patterns, and more. We also share some of the tools we’ve used in our homeschool preschool classroom, like these Letter Construction Fun letters, pattern cards, and wooden alphabet letter puzzles.
The printable packs include loads of games like this “Money see, Monkey do game” created to go along with the free alphabet letter printables for the letter “Mm”.
There are printable alphabet activities like the shark and snail puzzles featured in the photo below and fun lace-up cards like the blue shield (also pictured).
If I created free printable alphabet worksheets or an alphabet stencils printable I included it in the alphabet printable letters pack. Below you’ll see some worksheets for learning all about trucks as a part of the study of the letter “Tt”. Both printable upper and printable lower case alphabet letters are used throughout the entire series of free printable alphabet worksheets.
Here you can see some of the alphabet flash cards printables in use. The flash cards were posted on a white board and attached with blue tack. I then hand wrote the words next to the cards and reviewed them with my preschoolers. The flash cards are printed from front to back. As reading skills progress I can ask children to spell out the words just by looking at a picture of the animal or object on the front.
Here you may also notice some of the three letter word puzzles we’re using, and the lace-up cards that match baby animals to their mothers.
Every letter includes an easy letter craft. Here you can see an X-ray fish we created using white paint on a black piece of construction paper. We used Q-tips to create fish bones.
