An Easy Money Counting Printable
Does your preschooler need help counting money? These printable worksheets provide images of the most basic coins used in U.S. currency including quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. Once you print these pages you can teach your little one the values of these coins as well as introduce them to early math concepts.
An 8 1/2″ x 11″ placemat page is included that demonstrates how various combinations of coins equate to coins of larger value. There is also a page with multiple copies of coins that can be cut out and matched to the placemat to help your preschooler identify various coins and their value.
Counting Money Printable Worksheets
Of the preschool morning board printables we’ve created, these are my son’s favorite. He already understands that money can be used to buy things and he was so excited to have “his own” money.
To create these “coins”, I printed the coins on white card stock and then cut out each individual coin. I laminated the coins and cut them again to create the physical coins. Your other option is to laminate the sheets of coins first and cut them only once. I just like the results when I cut, laminate, and cut again.
