I hope you’re having a wonderful week. One of the things I truly look forward to when creating an All About My Family Book Craft is spending time with family. This “All About My Family” book craft is something you can easily create with your children and family members. Subscribe Here to download your free copy of this fun activity and craft for kids. Plus, subscribers receive free printables every month along with easy recipes and ideas for family fun.
I shared this craft a few years ago as part of a guest post I did over at UpsideDownHomeschooling.com. I thought this Family craft would not only fit in well with our alphabet study but also fit in well with Heather’s “Homeschooling through the Holidays.” I participated in her series as a way to encourage families with crafts and activities for the holiday season.
But this craft can be used at any time during the year. It’s especially fun to share your kids’ intrepretations of family members when they come for a visit. Lots of laughter for everyone!
All About My Family Book Craft
There are ten different faces in the printable pack and four questions on each page including the name of the family member, their relationship to the child and the person’s likes and favorite foods. I hope it will spur some lively conversations between the children and the adults in your family. The cards can also be used for friends; the statement reads “This is my…” and you could fill in neighbor, friend or whatever you wish.
As you can see below, the image on the left is my son’s portrayal of me. You may notice the similarities. 😉
