I hope it’s not too early to say – Merry Christmas! I hope you and your family are enjoying this holiday season.
FREE Printable Christmas Ornaments
The countdown to Christmas for our family has started. I wanted to find an easy way to stay focused on the true meaning of Christmas so I created these fun, easy to color and cut, FREE Printable Christmas Ornaments. The ornaments are designed to be symbolic of the scripture reading for each day. There are 24 days leading up to Christmas, so there are 24 ornaments that are paired with 24 scripture readings to tell the story of Jesus. Once the ornament pictures are printed, you can easily turn the printed page over and print the related verse on the back of each ornament. This is a great activity for young children, because it’s easy to do and its fun. Plus, they’ll get to see their creations up on the Christmas tree.

You can do one ornament a day as you read the verses or you may want to do several in one setting. I personally use Biblegateway.com anytime I need to look up a bible verse. I’ve attached a separate PDF file of the verses here so you can easily follow the readings for each day. The verses are in NIV. Check out Biblegateway.com to read the verses in your favorite version of the bible.
I hope you enjoy this easy craft with your little one. Reading the verses is optional and this can just be a fun coloring activity to create ornaments if you wish.

Lately I’ve been posting about twice a week (sometimes three times) and my posts have mainly been focusing on enriching preschooler activities using games and printables. I also publish Family Fun Friday every week. My boys and I love to play and have fun but I’m a parent who also wants to understand the “why” behind certain crafts, sensory bins, and educational toys.
I’ve been reading books – and I blog about what I learn. If I can, I try to develop tools that help me implement what I’ve learned, and if possible, I create printables that others can use, then I share those with you, my readers. 🙂 Often, for your convenience, I’ll include affiliate links to things like Amazon or other sellers. I make a tiny commission, but my hope is that you’ll become a fan and want to support my blogging by using these links when you can.
If you have time, you can also help me grow my blog by pinning the posts you like on PINTEREST or by sharing on other social media like Facebook. This is really important as word of mouth is one of the biggest ways that my blog grows.
Thanks for being a Happy and Blessed Home fan and if you’re using these printables and are enjoying them, please leave a comment. I would love to hear from you!
