This week we week our emphasis will be on making our menu simle, with 5 Simple Recipes to add to your menu. I know how crazy my life can be with kids, a husband, and everything in between. Not only am I short on time, but making everyone happy is equally chanllenging. So I decided that a simple menu was worth working towards.
This week’s recipes include: Scrambled Egg Muffins which are easy and protein packed. Just add a veggie side and you are done! Easy Salmon Chowder is full of nutrition, and the wonder of this soup is that it’s easy (literally it’s in the name). I pre-make soup and keep it in the refrigerator for my lunches, or for a quick meal option on the nights when chicken nuggets are on the menu.
The Easiest Free form Bread Ever looks–well, easy, and it is a crowd pleaser that your family will devour. Homemade bread never lasts long at my house. Also, a week’s worth of recipes in Menu Plan #37 Budget Stretchers, I am especially excited about her Ranch Chicken Sliders. Also featured, Spinach and Chicken Pasta. You really cannot go wrong with pasta– it is easy to switch to whole wheat or gluten free for any dietary accommodations you may be working with. The plus side to pasta is that children eat it!
