For the Simply Orange post – I’d like to create a fun Christmas themed breakfast. For the example here I used sweet rolls – but for the Simply Orange post I’d use homemade biscuits to create a flatter face for the Christmas Characters. This post NEVER went live. These are just practice run photos. I can easily focus, highlight and feature Simply Orange in a Christmas breakfast or brunch post. 🙂
In addition, I took these photos over two years ago. My photography has improved since that time.
I’ll post images of these being served at our family breakfast table in the AM. A photo of our breakfast area from a Doc McStuffins post is included below.
BTW – I stopped using my logo on photos – I just use a simple watermark.
These homemade biscuits are easy to make. Just mix, bake and decorate. Example from previous idea pictured here.
You can use chocolate icing or frosting for the reindeer.
I used peanut butter for Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Little holiday cookies as hats for Mr. and Mrs. Claus with chocolate candy melt in red, and I piped on whipped cream for the white decoration. I may also use cookies to any of the proposed themed breakfast biscuits as outlined in my application.
A frosting dispenser can also be used for whipped cream.
Add a few candy embellishments and voila’ – you have Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and four reindeer (including Rudolf) in one package in one easy breakfast!
Party Post Examples
Party anyone? I love to host a party and my husband and I pride ourselves on being gracious hosts. These photos can also give you a feel for a themed blog post to promote a toy, gift, or food product.
Here are a few examples of some of the parties we’ve hosted over at our place. These photos have not been retouched or watermarked.
Thanksgiving Tablescape
Christmas Gatherings (this is our house – this photo is not intended for a blog post – it’s just our home, any pics for a party will be much better lit and staged).
Disney Princess Birthday Party

We have lots of wacky friends and family! BTW – I’m the brunette on the far left making muscles.
It’s fun to throw a themed party.
One of my earlier parties – Sesame Street – its actually one of my highest viewed posts. Parents like the free printables.
I make all my own cakes. I also use photo editing software.
I go all out for my kid’s birthdays! And this is the first Christmas that my youngest will even get what is going on – he turns 3 in January. Hire me and you’ll get all this party goodness and more!
One of my first birthday cakes – Williams Sanoma Disney CARS cakes.
Thanks for letting me share of my fun party pics with you. I host really fun parties!
