One of my all-time favorite seasonings is Tequila Lime seasoning. To be truthful, there is no Tequila in it. It’s a reddish brown spice that I found completely by accident in the seafood section at Whole Foods one day. It looked interesting so I put in my shopping cart. I’ve been a fan ever since.
It’s particularly tasty when paired with sesame seed oil and wild Alaska salmon in my Easy Recipe for wild Alaska salmon with Tequila Lime Glaze. Our family loves to eat salmon; so, this summer, I’ve shared a variety of recipes for wild Alaska salmon. My hope is that you too can enjoy wild Alaska salmon with a variety of seasonings and flavors. Two other outstanding recipes I think you should try:
1.) wild Alaska salmon with Teriyaki and Pineapple and
2.) wild Alaska salmon with Honey and Soy (I’ve linked these recipes below)

This Easy Recipe for wild Alaska salmon with Tequila Lime Glaze packs in the tangy flavor of lime with the scent of Tequila and smoothes it out with a savory glaze of sesame seed oil. I can’t decide which is best, the aroma or the flavor. OK – we’ll go with both.
Wild Alaska Salmon
I visited the fresh seafood case at our local grocer to purchase the salmon I used for this recipe. My advice, #AskForAlaska when you go grocery shopping. All Alaska salmon is wild. Wild-caught Alaska salmon includes five species that can be found at the seafood counter or freezer case including king salmon, sockeye, coho, keta, and pink. Step 3: Cover the baking dish securely with aluminum foil.
Step 4: Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Once the oven reaches the desired temperature, add the wild Alaska salmon in the baking dish to the oven and bake for 18 to 22 minutes. Bake 6-8 minutes for each 1/2 of thickness. Check to ensure the wild Alaska salmon flakes with a fork to check for doneness.
I pan grilled the vegetable skewers and cooked up the orange rice in a pot on the stovetop. I used Sazon seasoning to flavor the rice and give it the rich orange color.
