A video to inspire you with the word, “Wonder”.
Every week I look forward to a new letter and to writing some encouraging words to my fellow moms. I’m trying to keep this devotional series really light by just focusing on one inspiring word for the week. I pray these one word devotionals are an encouragement to you.
One of the things that I love about being a mom is that I get to witness my little ones as they experience the wonder of a new discovery. Some of these special moments include the first time my eldest saw the moon or found his shadow, or the first time my youngest pet our “kitty-cat”.
We’re on the letter “W” and the word that inspires me this week is “Wonder.”
From the FREE online dictionary,
1. a. One that arouses awe, astonishment, surprise, or admiration; a marvel: “The decision of one age or country is a wonder to another” (John Stuart Mill).
b. The emotion aroused by something awe-inspiring, astounding, or marvelous: gazed with wonder at the northern lights.
2. An event inexplicable by the laws of nature; a miracle.
3. A feeling of puzzlement or doubt.
adj. Wonderful
Psalm 139:14, New International Version (NIV)
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
