My goals this fall include helping my little guys grow and develop, completing some remodeling projects, drawing closer to God through bible study, and improving my workouts and eating to get back to my pre-pregnancy shape. The boys are doing great! Our little guy is sleeping better and I hope it continues despite the teething. He makes all sorts of squeals now and pulls his knees up while on his tummy so crawling is on the way.
The weather has been beautiful with fall-like temperatures and we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get outside. Our big boy can now climb the steps on the jungle gym and slide down the slide all by himself. The other day he helped another little boy climb the stairs by offering him his hand. He likes to help others and often offers to share toys, give free hugs, or help others stand up. He’s going to be an awesome big brother.
Mommy is busy painting door frames around the house, trying to complete some of our remodel goals. In addition, she’s doing a new study called “Crazy Love” by Francis Chan. You can check out his web site here: http://www.crazylovebook.com/ including some really great videos that talk about God and His love for us.
In addition, mommy is taking on a five week fitness challenge at:
The author of this blog has some great free videos and tips on healthy eating and exercise. I’ve completed week one which includes four days of exercise and scripture memorization. The verse for the first week was:
Ecclesiastes 4:12
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
For Daddy it is hunting season and we are praying he gets a big elk on his hunt. It will mean a freezer stocked full of hormone-free all-organic meat and a happy daddy.
We pray you’re having a blessed week.
In His Grip,
