Family Fun
You know what is so exciting? My husband and I are celebrating our seven-year anniversary this weekend! Woo-hoo! And it’s like ya’ll knew or something because there was a whole host of fantastic ideas for date nights! Over 130 ideas in this collection. Many of the ideas are frugal or free – hooray! If you’re looking for ideas to initiate a creative date night – welcome to the JACKPOT of date night ideas from some of the most talented bloggers on the web. 🙂
- Elie over at Organizer by Day shared her sticky-post-it-notes simplicity in her post 12 Date Nights for a Year. She shares a great idea for planning date nights with your husband by taking turns where you go for date night. Great idea Elie!
- Stacy from Stacy Makes Cents shared a fun idea in her Frugal Date Night Scavenger Hunt – complete with a list and instructions. Check out her post for a fun and totally doable date night.
- Never run out of date night ideas with this list of 50 Fun Date Night Ideas from Whitney who writes at Beauty in the Mess. My favorite, “Book store Date. Grab a coffee from the coffee shop, and browse the shelves with your hubby.” Love it!
- Need more ideas? Check out 25 FREE Date Ideas from Laura at Thrifty Homemaking. She writes, “Go to the park and feed the ducks.” I used to love doing this as a kid – great idea Laura.
- Kathy from Cornerstone Confessions shared her list of 20 Date Night Ideas That Don’t Require a Baby sitter. I like her idea to, “Make it a taste-test night. What you taste-test could be up to you–flavors of cheese, brands of root beer, types of chocolate….” Ummmm – chocolate.
- A Super Cool List of Surprisingly Cheap (Winter) Dates was written by Angela of Grocery Shrink. I thought this idea was pretty clever, “Give each person $10 and split up at the grocery store. Assign each person a vague list of items such as “meat” “dessert” “Side Dish” “bread” and let each person pick whatever they want. Go home and cook it up together.”
