So I whip up a batch of these crunchy cereal bars the night before — and we can all enjoy a quick breakfast before heading out the door the next morning.

Ingredients for Healthy Fruit and Nut No Bake Granola Bars
- 2 1/2 cups Honey Bunches of Oats® cereal (use this coupon to save $1.00 on your next purchase)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup honey

- 1/2 cup dried cranberries (or dried fruit of your choice)
- 1/2 cup shelled and quartered pecans (or chopped nut of your choice)
Directions for Healthy Fruit and Nut No Bake Granola Bars
Homemade Healthy Fruit and Nut No Bake Granola Bars are SO easy to make. This variety will create No Bake Cereal Bars with Cranberries and Pecans.
Step 1. Toast the oats. Melt butter in a sauce pan and add oats. Toast the oats by constantly tossing them.
Then, heat the peanut butter (or you can use another nut butter if allergies are a concern) and honey in a separate large sauce pan on medium heat and stir the two together until melted.
See the video below for live action on mixing and creating these No Bake Cereal Bars with Cranberries and Pecans.
Step 2. Add the gooey sauce to your dry ingredients, including Honey Bunches of Oats® cereal, in a large mixing bowl and voila’ – you have Healthy Fruit and Nut No Bake Granola Bars.
I recommend adding the ingredients one at a time moving from the smallest items to the largest as you stir. Leave fruits and nuts like the pecans and cranberries until the very last. By adding them once the mixture is partially cooled, you can leave their shape intact.
Step 3. Once everything is mixed together, line a 9″ x 13″ baking dish with wax paper and pour in the Honey Bunches of Oats® cereal mixture. Flatten the mix with a greased spatula and place a wrap over the top and let the mix set for two hours.
Once set, carve out 9 bars from the pan. These No Bake Cereal Bars with Cranberries and Pecans keep for about a week. I recommend storing them in the fridge to keep them fresh.
