My boys love the story Goodnight Gorilla and to help other families enjoy the story as much as we do, I’m guest posting with a free printable unit study on my friend Tabitha’s blog – MeetPenny.com. Affiliate links are included for your convenience.
For MeetPenny I’ve created a unit study based on the children’s book Goodnight Gorilla. It’s a fun story based upon some zoo animals that follow a zoo keeper home and help him settle in for the night. My boys adore the book and no matter how many times we’ve read it, my two-year-old always encourages us to turn to the next page with the words, “Let’s see what happens.”
If you enjoy the book, you’ll love the printables too. Follow this link to visit MeetPenny.com where you can download the entire Goodnight Gorilla Unit Study.
Goodnight Gorilla Free Printable Puppets and Puzzles
If you’re visiting from MeetPenny.com I’ve created a few extra freebies for you. These freebies are also available for HappyandBlessedHome.com readers and subscribers.
There are seven animal puppets and puzzles in all including:
- Gorilla
- Giraffe
- Lion
- Elephant
- Hyena
- Armadillo
- Mouse
They are easy to create and super fun for kids. Great for animated story-time and the puzzles are great for early problem solving skills.
