My husband and I are at 36 weeks and counting and are thankful for a healthy pregnancy. At 3 cm dilated it’s hard not to be anxious about our son’s pending arrival. When I look back over the pregnancy though I am amazed at how God has been there for us – watching and protecting us. We’ve had a rocky road of multiple miscarriages over the years and one baby at 30 weeks. So to make it to 36 weeks has truly been a miracle. Even though I still have to wait I am reminded of God’s perfect timing and how when I trust in Him, His plan is always better than my own. I am also so thankful for the love and prayer covering of so many of our friends and family and the strength of my husband during this time. There has been such a peace encircling my heart – I can feel the power of prayer. I am humbled and thankful.
PSALM 150
1 Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
This post is dedicated to giving the Lord praise and thanks.
