Special thanks to General Mills and the Box Tops for Education program for sponsoring this post and for inspiring me to write about our family’s experience with Box Tops. I received monetary compensation from General Mills in exchange of my endorsement of Box Tops For Education. But even before they contacted me, I can honestly say that I love the program and we genuinely save box tops every week for my boys’ elementary school.
Did you know that you can earn cash for your child’s school at Sam’s Club?
I’m an avid Sam’s Club shopper, they have loads of great deals at Sam’s and I love that I can pick up household supplies to last the entire month at a huge discount. Well, back-to-school shopping is no different. When you shop at Sam’s Club you can get loads of snack items and things like cereal and raise money for your local school through the Box Tops for Education program, for every box top saved General Mills® will make a donation to your school of choice. Over 80,000 participating schools are eligible to receive donations from General Mills through Box Tops.
Raise Money for your Child’s School through Box Tops!
You can shop any of the participating products at Sam’s Club and redeem them for your school. Your school earns 10¢ for each Box Top redeemed!
It’s so easy to start using the Bow Tops for Education Program. All you have to do is:
-
Clip coupons from your everyday purchases. Place them in a sealed bag for safe keeping.
-
Once you’ve collected a bundle, turn them in at your child’s school.
-
The school will collect and redeem the coupons.
-
Box Tops pays the school 10 cents per coupon.
-
Schools use the money to buy items beyond their budgets, such as playground equipment, library books, and computers.

It really is that easy. Our school last year earned a lot of money. The $.10 here and the $.10 there really does add up – our school used the funds to add more books to the school library.
I personally participate in the Box Tops program because of its positive impact for schools. I can help my local school just by buying the products I am already buying and my kids love the fun, tasty snacks and breakfast cereals.
BONUS: Some of the items come with bonus box tops! Keep a look-out for special packaging so you can redeem extra box tops for your school!
