Our family loves superhero themed fun and with the new MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron movie now available at Walmart, we snatched up a copy and found some fun costumes for our entire family. We hosted a movie watching party (for my husband and myself – the boys are a little young) complete with superhero themed snacks and loads of printables to make it easy for others to re-create this party at home. Love family fun with a superhero twist? We do! I gathered our Avengers team to host a fun Halloween and movie launch party for the new new release of MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron movie available now at Walmart. Welcome to our family fun party! I’ve also included some FUN party printables including an Avengers Party banner, napkin ring holders, cupcake toppers, table scatter, and Avengers play doh mats for kids.
Avengers Movie Watch Party
Staging a fun movie watching party was easy. I created simple snacks around each of the characters and decorated with the printable party banner, table scatter, cup labels and napkin rings using the printable pack included with this post.

I surprised the boys with new Halloween costumes that I hung with a baker’s cord strung up behind our breakfast table. I used my son’s building blocks to display our party cupcakes and I labeled some swirly lollipops with Avengers’ logos.These party ideas would also be perfect for a superhero birthday party or kid’s costume party.
Avengers Themed Party Snacks
For the Incredible Hulk I wanted something with a “crunch” so I placed some nacho chips in a bowl and topped them with a thick slice of monterey jack cheese cut into the shape of a star.
I used cookie cutters to make shapes in thick slices of cheese for all the characters. For Iron Man, I simply washed some strawberries and placed a thick slice of monterey jack cheese cut in the shape of a circle in the center – representing Iron Man’s power source.

I found some dark blue grapes and used them as the center for Captain America’s fruit bowl. 
I laid the grapes in the middle surrounded by strawberries with a small cheese star in the center to represent Captain America’s shield.
And finally, for Thor, I cut small bricks of monterey jack cheese and inserted pretzel sticks to create Thor hammers. I think the superheroes loved their snacks and cupcakes – as evidenced by their conversation.
Avengers Costumes and Party FUN!
The boys loved the costumes and they were just what we needed to celebrate our Marvel Halloween Blu-ray/DVD watch party. The boys are still too young for superhero movies, but my husband, my mom and myself loved the action packed MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron Blu-ray/DVD movie. This movie goes above and beyond your typical superhero drama – it’s full of background on the characters and helps fans understand each superheroes’ hopes and fears. In the end, the Avengers have to join together to defeat the enemy and save thousands from eminent destruction. A must watch movie for superhero fans everywhere!
Captain America was really hungry and the boys and I were afraid he’d eat all the party food!

You can find everything featured here at Walmart. The Avengers themed party supplies are at Walmart in the party section. I printed the Avengers party decorations at home. Find MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron at Walmart in the electronics and movies section. During the month of October, Avengers costumes are located near the front of the store and are on sale for $15 each – what a great price for such awesome costumes!
