Melissa & Doug is one of my favorite sources for toys for my preschoolers for several reasons:
1. They are an honest company that provides excellent customer service: for Christmas I received duplicate toys valued at over $100. The toys came from various sources; iDealie and Amazon to name a few. These internet resellers would not take back the toys. I contacted Melissa and Doug and they agreed to allow me to exchange over $100 in product. After I selected, ordered and paid for the toys I wanted in exchange, I mailed back the duplicate toys and Melissa and Doug game me a full refund, no restocking fee, and they even honored my online coupons {retailmenot}.
2. Their toys are durable. Trust me, with two boys these toys take a liking and keep on ticking.
3. Their toys are classic. I love that so many of their toys are not plastic. Many are made of wood and are so colorful.
4. Their toys are educational. Their activity boards and puzzles keep my boys entertained and help me introduce new concepts to them like letters and numbers in a way that keeps them engaged and interested.
We enjoy their toys so much it’s one of the main reasons why I feature them in my sidebar. You’ll also see me feature some of their products in my posts because my boys enjoy using them and I think you will too. I encourage you to sign up for the $200 Easter Basket giveaway. If you win let me know and I’ll feature you in a future blog post {if you wish}.
Good luck!
In His Grip,
Some of our favorite Melissa and Doug Toys:
Our favorite puzzle for teaching Peanut phonetic sounds is the “Sound Puzzle” by Melissa and Doug, click the image for more info.
Peanut also enjoys the “Dress Up Bears” by Melissa and Doug. I’m hoping to use these to encourage him to learn to get dressed by himself.
Both boys enjoy playing with the “Trucks Block Puzzle”. It’s big and chunky which makes it perfect for Nugget too.
These are just a few of our favorites.
