What an amazing week! We gave birth to our second son. He is doing great – born a little over 36 weeks he nurses well and beat jaundice. He is a healthy and robust baby boy. He weighed 5 lbs. 10.2 ozs and is adorable. The whole family is adjusting to his arrival – meaning lots less sleep for everyone.
Amidst all the commotion – in and out of the hospital and pediatrician’s office, our eldest caught scarlet fever. It’s a terrible sickness, he has a rash and fever and sore throat. My husband and I would gladly take it away and bear it for him if we could. We are praying for rapid healing. We are so thankful for all the love and support from our family and friends. Their prayers, gifts, and meals have been such a blessing to us.
