I’ve made a goal to commit to better eating for four months. I’ve made it through month one and lost 4.5 lbs. I’m no expert but I know what works for me. Sticking to 1200-1500 calories per day, exercising four times a week and getting enough rest really helps. Here’s my post baby diet plan:
Breakfast is either waffles with 1 tsp. PB and syrup or oatmeal with bananas and pecans. |
Lunch is my favorite spinach salad (no blue cheese) with glazed pecans, cucumber and strawberries. |
Dinner is a smart sized portion – think lean cuisine sized portions of whatever I make for my family and I try to limit juices and drink more water and tea. In addition I exercise four days a week (on hectic weeks maybe 3) during my boys’ nap time. Right now I’m loving the old FIRM workout videos on VHS. So far so good. Let me know if you have any diet tips that have really worked for you and maybe I can implement them into my plan.
