Yesterday was a beautiful day. We took the family to a carnival complete with face painting, slides, free cotton candy, kettle corn, fire trucks, tractors, and lots of things little ones enjoy. Celebrations, Sleep and Play

Immanuel – God With Us
Truly the Lord has walked with me this week. He is my rock, my Immanuel. It was the first week that I had both boys alone. Beginnings and Endings
My husband's father had a stroke over six years ago. Right before Christmas of 2011 he fell and suffered a brain injury that nearly killed him. He is in recovery but is in a "different place" his sister reports to us. My husband is grieving the loss of his father in that he isn't the same.
