This week I’ll be publishing my letter “E” printables but today I wanted to let my readers know about a few resources that you may find helpful that have recently come across my desk. I have a busy life filled with two wonderful little guys, but I also am on the lookout for tools that can help encourage me and inspire me and my little ones. I’m going to share three things with you and at the bottom of this post you can register to win any one of these items for FREE.
A very timely item is an adorable printable for children titled “My Book of Thanks“. It is written by Heather Bowen at UpsideDown Homeschooling. It’s a gratitude journal for kids. It is so simple, and yet so profound at the same time. It is a visual guide to remind us to give thanks. Each page is beautifully illustrated with a place for your child to write in what they are thankful for. It includes inspiring scripture and quotes. I think it’s perfect for a child who is either learning to write or who can already write, but the application applies to children of all ages. This post contains affiliate links for your convenience.

The second item is also from Heather at UpsideDownHomeschooling.com called “My Christmas Wish“. My Christmas Wish is a 15 day devotional and journal to prepare your kids for Christmas. Each day has a verse to read, a prayer prompt, and journaling prompt. The journaling page for each day uses the acronym “WISH” to guide your child through writing for the journaling prompt, thinking more about the topic for the day, doing an activity, and listening to mom or dad read another verse. Click the image to purchase. The price is $2.99 but if you use coupon code: bucketlist, it will take $1 off the price. The discount is good through Christmas.
If you have a preschooler through an early or middle-elementary age child (or children), this would be a great journal leading up to Christmas. It contains primary writing lines throughout the journal and cute graphics. I can personally attest to these items as I received copies from Heather so that I could write these reviews and share a giveaway of these items with my readers.
The third item is a book of scripture cards, “On the Job Meditations for Moms” by Rachel at Thriving Home. I requested a free copy in exchange for a review because I thought they would be helpful for me as a busy mom. I do not have an affiliate link for these cards. So I don’t make anything if you purchase a copy for yourself. But I do believe in supporting fellow bloggers, especially when they create something that is so inspiring and practical. Sometimes the simplest things in life are the most effective. The cards are on sale for $4.99 – but this price includes printing and giving away as many copies as you want.
One of my wise mentor friends once told me that I should have a devotional or bible with me everywhere I go. She’s a mother of six with a seventh on the way. And she explained to me that she found it difficult to carve out a reliable quiet time. She explained that by keeping a copy of verses in the car, her purse, the bathroom, basically everywhere, that God’s encouraging words were accessible to her every time she had a spare moment. Now, I think that with six+ children she is busier than I am, but her advice still applies to me.
These scripture cards are beautiful to look at and include some of the most basic and encouraging scriptures. I’m so thankful I have a copy. My plan is to print and laminate them and keep them in my purse. I think any mom would be happy to have a copy of these on hand for those moments when she can stop and breathe. Places like the doctor’s office, waiting in line, pulling through a drive-thru, etc. Beauty in the midst of chaos. That is mom life to me.
I think these are some wonderful and timely resources for the season we are in. Thanks for allowing me a moment to support my fellow bloggers and share these items with you.
