If you’ve never tried Blue Apron, you’ll love this post. On this page, I’ll show you exactly what arrived in our Blue Apron Box. Our box included three recipes, so the ingredients you’ll see are for those three dishes.
Blue Apron’s Original Weekly Recipes
Just a few tidbits of info about Blue Apron’s weekly recipes. You can choose the type of plan (two or three recipes per week) that best fits your family (available in a two or four person meal plan).
- Blue Apron delivers seasonal recipes created by renowned guest chefs and their culinary team
- Recipes are never repeated in the same year
- 500-800 calories per serving
The three recipes included in our Blue Apron delivery were:
The directions were very clear and easy to follow. You’ll need to budget about 10 minutes prep time and another 25-35 minutes for cooking each recipe. The ingredients are so fresh that even if you wait a few days to start cooking, everything will still taste amazing. I only recommend freezing if you plan to wait more than five days to cook.
What’s Inside a Blue Apron Box?
Well, it depends upon what you order, but basically it’s all the ingredients in a thermal protection bag and it’s packed with big freezer bricks to keep the food cold. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and perfectly pre-measured so there’s no waste. The meats are naturally raised on antibiotic- and hormone-free diets.
