Every year I buy the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle because it really is the most amazing collection of eBooks and resources available for homemakers. I’ve read through my bundle and I think I should highlight a few for HappyandBlessedHome.com readers. This post contains affiliate links for your convenience.
I found loads of helpful resources in the areas of meal planning, making nutritious dishes, teaching kids, frugal date nights, and advice for me as a mom blogger. Plus – I love the bonuses! My favorites are the free discovery box for kids, a free Craftsy course, and a $15 Credit towards any Tyndale (book publisher) purchase. I can hardly believe you get the all the books and bonuses for less than $30!
FLASH SALE! Ultimate Homemaking Bundle
There are loads resources in the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle and here I’m covering my top picks. If you would like to browse the entire collection of resources I’ve included a list towards the bottom of this post or you can click here: The entire list of Ultimate Bundle Resources.
Meal Planning and Nutritious Dishes
I admit, I’m not the best at ensuring homemade dishes for breakfast for my kids. My eldest is allergic to eggs so I’m fresh out of ideas most of the time and my kids wind up eating cereal most mornings. But this year’s Ultimate Homemaking Bundle has me so excited to try some new breakfast options for my boys! The Healthy Breakfast Book by Katie Kimball has some great tips, tricks, and recipes for whipping up a healthy breakfast even with limited time. This is a photo of Katie’s Grain Free Gluten Free Apple Squares.
My boys also often prefer spaghettios or mac and cheese most nights so I’ll be spending some serious time reviewing Supercharged Food for Kids by Lee Holmes. I’d like to increase the variety and nutrition of the foods they eat. Lee writes, “Getting kids to eat healthy doesn’t have to be the Mt Everest of parenthood. In Supercharged Food for Kids you’ll find recipes that will please even the pickiest of little eaters, healthy and delicious choices for school lunchboxes, and plenty of dinner ideas that kids will enjoy.” Phew – that’s great news for our family!
Teaching Children
I love blogger Jenn Thornson and she’s put together The Busy Mom’s Guide to Teaching Character. She writes, “Praise them when they do right! This is something I forget to do often, but it is healthy to recognize our children when they show kindness, obedience, wisdom or any other growth in character.” I truly look forward to reading Jenn’s entire book – I always find her tips helpful.
If you have young children, like I do, or if you work with young children, I think you’ll love Sensory Bins: The What, The How, & The Why by Sharla Kostelyk. I count Sharla as a personal friend and I’m truly thrilled that this book is part of the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle this fall. My three year old will truly benefit from what I learn from this book!
Misty Leask is a woman of hard work and integrity and she juggles a wide variety of responsibilities as a homeschooler and mom blogger. Misty has a unique skill in organizing and she’s put together a Year-Round Homeschooling: Teacher Planner. If you need help getting organized or planning your homeschool year – you’ll love this resource as much as I do. Kudos to Misty for getting this together.
Marriage
My favorite pick from the marriage category is 50 Frugal Dates by Jenny Martin. Sometimes I think my husband and I put off planning a date night because we’re out of ideas, money, or both. Jenny’s simple tips and sound advice will help my husband and I get a bit more creative with our dates and will hopefully help us clear out time to spend more time together even when things get busy.
Blogging
I’ve already read How to Blog for Profit (Without Selling Your Soul) by Ruth Soukup. I liked it so much that earlier this year I purchased and completed her 12 Week eCourse at Elite Blog Academy. Ruth is genuine, insightful, and a leader among bloggers. If you’re a blogger, her book alone is worth the price of the bundle. I’ll be digging back into my hard copy but it’s nice to have it as a pdf on my laptop as well. Definitely a book worth reading.
Love the bundle the way that I do? It’s easy to order and only takes a few minutes to download everything:
